What is Suite to Suite at Cosmo Salon Studios?
Suite to Suite is Cosmo’s offer for beauty and wellness pros who already rent a salon suite somewhere else: 4 weeks free on a new lease at every Cosmo location. You bring your clients, your license and your tools, and our leasing team helps you pick a suite and time your start date around the end of your current lease.
How many weeks free do I get when I switch to Cosmo?
4 weeks free at every Cosmo location when you move from another salon suite and sign a new one-year lease. Some locations offer more right now: in Dearborn, 6 weeks free on suites 11, 21 and 22 for leases signed by November 30, 2026. A local offer replaces the 4 weeks rather than adding to them.
Can I move my salon suite from Sola, Phenix or MY SALON Suite to Cosmo?
Yes. Cosmo is a separate company from Sola Salon Studios, Phenix Salon Suites and MY SALON Suite, so you sign a new Cosmo lease once your current agreement allows you to leave.
When should I start planning a move to a new salon suite?
Start a couple of months before your current lease ends. Check how much notice your lease requires and whether it renews automatically, then tour Cosmo so your new suite is ready the week you leave. Our switching guide has a week-by-week plan.
How do I switch salon suites without losing clients?
Tell your clients early and personally, give them the new address before your last day at the old suite, and update your booking app, Google Business Profile, Instagram and any directory listings the day you move. Clients who book with you, not with the building, will follow when they know where to find you.
Do I need a new license to move salon suites in Michigan?
Your personal Michigan license, such as cosmetology, esthetics, manicuring, barber or massage, goes with you. The suite you work in has to meet Michigan’s rules for a licensed establishment, so confirm with Michigan LARA whether your new suite needs its own establishment license before you open.
What comes with a Cosmo suite when I move in?
Every suite comes fully equipped for your specialty, for example a styling chair and washbowl, a massage table, or a nail station and client chair. Each suite includes a design package with a full-length mirror, millwork, a workstation and a luxury light fixture, floor-to-ceiling walls, utilities, Wi-Fi, commercial-grade laundry on site and 24/7 keypad access with exterior and doorway cameras.
How long is a Cosmo lease, and can I share my suite?
Cosmo leases are for one year. You can share your suite with another licensed professional at no extra charge, and every tenant gets their own signage.
