What this video covers

This video focuses on the move from a commission-based salon to private suite ownership at Cosmo Salon Studios. The speaker describes financial freedom after the switch and recommends Cosmo for beauty professionals ready to get out on their own. You will also hear about the friendly culture inside the building: clients still see a community of professionals, but appointments happen in a private suite with focused one-on-one time.

The closing advice is practical—start sooner once you have a clientele, lead from the heart, and build personal relationships with clients. For Michigan professionals comparing commission environments to salon suite ownership, this story centers on control of your business, earnings, and the client experience inside a private Cosmo suite.

The financial freedom here is amazing.

I was previously at a commission-based salon, and I made in the first week of sales here what I would have made there in a month's time.

I would recommend Cosmo for anyone looking to get out on their own.

The culture here at Cosmo is friendly and warm and inviting.

My clients love it because there are other people here, but yet we're still in our own private suite and studio where we can just have one-on-one time, but there's friendly people here also.

If I were to give anybody any advice, I would say do it sooner.

As soon as you feel like you have a clientele, get out there and do your own thing because it's wonderful.

Do it from the heart.

You have to love what you do and create those personal relationships with your clients.
